Title: QA Automation Engineer (Mobile Ordering)

Location: Chennai, India, Remote

Job Description: As a QA Automation Engineer (SDET) for our Mobile Ordering solution, you will be responsible for improving and maintaining the quality assurance processes of a best-in-class mobile ordering solution used by millions of students. Specifically, you will be responsible for

• Working with the developers and Product Owner to understand and write test cases & execute them for new features/bugs using the Scrum methodology.
• Executing regression tests
• Automating test cases to a high standard that are reliable and maintainable.
• Configuration & execution of load tests and then summarizing and reporting on the results of test runs
• Advocate for best practices and industry standards in Agile Testing & Automation across the entire SDLC and to mentor and guide team members on these.
• Collect quality metric data and communicate test status/risks to stakeholders.

Required Skills:

• Ability to understand technical requirements and decompose them into work tasks.
• Excellent communication and fluency in written and spoken English.
• JMeter load testing configuration and execution
• Playwright with Node JS
• Postman (API collections, Mock Server configuration)
• Manual test case creation and execution using Atlassian Xray
• Automated test case creation and implementation using Atlassian Xray

Preferred Skills:

• Espresso with Kotlin for Android UI automation
• XCUITest with Swift for iOS UI Automation
• Azure DevOps & GitHub Actions C.I Pipelines
• Octopus Deploy
• Azure Load Testing

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions.
