1. Security Strategy & Governance

  • Develop, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide information security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Drive the organizations Information Security roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Support ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC2, and other compliance/certification initiatives.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of the security posture and recommend improvements.

2. Risk Management

  • Lead InfoSec risk assessments, third-party vendor risk reviews, and threat modelling.
  • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks across applications, infrastructure, and business processes.
  • Maintain the risk register and ensure timely closure of audit findings.

3. Security Operations & Incident Response

  • Oversee SOC operations, threat monitoring, vulnerability management, and log analysis.
  • Lead incident response planning, execution, investigation, and post-incident RCA.
  • Coordinate with IT Infrastructure, Cloud, and Application teams to ensure timely patching and remediation.

4. Application & Cloud Security

  • Ensure secure SDLC practices across development teams.
  • Evaluate and implement security tools for SAST, DAST, API security, and cloud configurations.
  • Conduct security reviews for new applications, integrations, and infrastructure changes.

5. Awareness & Training

  • Drive security awareness initiatives across employees, contractors, and partners.
  • Conduct targeted trainings on phishing, data protection, and industry-specific risks.

6. Stakeholder Management & Leadership

  • Act as the primary InfoSec advisor to business units, Legal, HR, and IT teams.
  • Prepare and present security metrics, dashboards, and updates to leadership and audit committees.
  • Mentor and develop the InfoSec team to drive operational excellence.
