Role Summary

We are looking for a UI/UX Specialist with a strong sense of design and hands-on experience in creating intuitive, user-friendly interfaces. The ideal candidate must be skilled in Shopify design/customisation and capable of delivering high-quality web and e-commerce experiences. Knowledge of landing page optimisation and CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation) will be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities


• Create user-centric UI/UX designs for websites and web applications.


• Design and customise Shopify websites, themes, and storefront experiences.


• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.


• Ensure brand consistency, visual clarity, and excellent user experience.


• Design responsive, mobile-friendly website layouts.


• Optimise website and landing page layouts for improved conversion rates (CRO).


• Implement A/B testing, analyse user behavior, and apply findings to improve performance.


• Collaborate with developers, marketing teams, and stakeholders for project execution.


• Conduct usability testing and incorporate feedback into design improvements.


• Stay updated on design trends, best practices, and Shopify ecosystem updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications


• Must have a good sense of design and strong visual creativity.


• 2–4 years of proven experience in UI/UX design.


• Strong experience with Shopify (themes, customisation, design updates).


• Experience with landing page optimisation and CRO-focused design.


• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools.


• Understanding of layout, typography, colour theory, and modern UI patterns.


• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS (preferred but not mandatory).


• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills (Optional)


• Experience in creating responsive and mobile-friendly web designs.


• Knowledge of Shopify Liquid templates (a plus).


• Familiarity with e-commerce UX and CRO best practices.


• Ability to work with design systems and maintain UI consistency.


• Experience using heatmaps, analytics tools, and A/B testing platforms.

Technical Skills


• Bachelor's degree in design, computer science, or a relevant field


• Proven work experience as a UI/UX designer or a similar role


• UI/UX Design Portfolio for web platforms


• Good knowledge of Sketch, InVision, HTML, Visio, CSS (SCSS), Design Systems, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.
