  What's this role about?

As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining the security of an organization's cloud computing environment to protect against cyberthreats. You will also help us tell compelling stories, build communities, and drive impact through social media and content.

Here's how you'll contribute:

In this role you will help us:

  • The successful applicant will be a Cyber Security Customer Solution Engineer
  • The role holder will be responsible for leading customers on analysis of Cyber Security requirements and resulting solution architecture for those customers - both new and existing.
  • Considerable experience of a comparable cyber security role
  • Good knowledge and hands-on experience on Cloud Native security controls
  • Strong Leadership abilities
  • Develop Practice charter and work on demand generation
  • Work with the Sales, Technical and Delivery team, Finance team etc.  to come up with a competitive proposal response

Skills required to contribute:

We're looking for someone with:

  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Microsoft Defender for Cloud
  • Strong understanding in implementation of endpoint protection, EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response), and cloud security principles.
  • Strong knowledge of threat hunting, incident response methodologies, and security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO
  • Knowledge in deployment of cloud native and third-party technologies such as Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), Cloud Workload Protection (CWP), and Cloud Security Platform Management (CSPM) to secure cloud platforms.
  • Must have good experience in cloud security assessment product on multi-cloud environment.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python) is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
