We are looking for an experienced PHP developer (3-4 years) who is dedicated to his/her craft, writes code that they are proud of, and can hit the ground running. We need the developer to write beautiful, fast PHP to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way that improves the code base of our products in meaningful ways. The developer will be a part of a creative team that will be responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing, and launching.

Responsibilities

  • On-site design and development of web applications in PHP/MySQL.
  • Integration and support of web applications and associated hardware.
  • Analyze, test, and resolve issues with application software and associated peripherals.
  • Develop web services (Json, XML) that will interface with third-party APIs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Knowledge of a combination of PHP and MySQL. MVC pattern framework knowledge.
  • Skills are HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • 2-3 years of working experience in PHP development.
  • Knowledge in developing in an MVC framework.
  • Knowledge in configuring and maintaining virtual servers.
  • Knowledge of configuring IIS web servers.
  • Using version control systems for code integration.
  • Desired Knowledge: MySQL, PHP, HTML5 JSON, Yii2 Codeigniter, Yii (Any MVC pattern framework).

Professional Skills

  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
