Job Description

In-depth working knowledge of Smart 3D software. Skills in creating customer specific Catalog with customized reference data like Piping spec customization, Equipment, Instruments, Structural, Electrical modules in Smart 3D. Setup and management of new and existing engineering projects within Smart 3D in standalone environment. Knowledge of WBS configuration.

(2) Global Work share setup and configuration experience in Smart 3D.

(3) Isometric and GA setup and configuration and Customization.

(4) Report template customization in Smart 3D using COM and SQL.

(5) Knowledge of symbol customization in Smart 3D using .Net platform.

(6) Setup and management of a complete integrated environment

(7) Knowledge of writing and executing SQL/Oracle queries on Smart 3D

(8) Knowledge of Smart 3D upgrade

(9) Experience with PDS model conversion to Smart 3D

(10) Providing user-support to project resources as per requirement

(11) Managing and creating reporting options through the project lifecycle

(12) Added advantages experience in live project with integrated environment set-up on SPF with Smart 3D, SP P&ID, SPI and SPEL

(13) Troubleshooting SQL/Oracle database and software issues. Automation experience will be added advantage.

(B) Qualifications / Experience

(1) Mechanical or relevant Engineering Degree from a reputed institute.

(2) Minimum years' experience in Oil and Gas, chemical projects.

(3) Good understanding and awareness of:

(a) Good knowledge of Piping Material Specifications, Valve Material Specification and its considerations

(b) Good knowledge of Piping Engineering Drawings (inputs) like P&IDs, Equipment Drawing, Plot Plans and Civil Drawings.

(c) Understanding of Pipe Support Standards

(d) Responsible for end user training and customizations as per the project requirement.

(e) Perform Routine check and validation through various Reports run.

(C) Software exposure

(1) Smart 3D, Smart Review and SPIOP.

(2) Knowledge of SQL queries to customize reports templates and various other activities.

(3) Knowledge of Navis Manager, AutoCAD.

(4) Knowledge of AVEVA E3D will have an advantage

(D) Experience
