Role & responsibilities

  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to source pricing and freight information.
  • Actively participate in negotiating rates with carriers & NVOCCs.
  • Align with the sales team to source prices, assist with quotations, and respond to inquiries by providing competitive pricing and support.
  • Prepare and manage quotations for inquiries, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Handle pricing for both import and export shipments efficiently.
  • Coordinate and resolve queries with carriers, forwarding companies, and other entities to ensure successful cargo deliveries.
  • Liaise with both local and foreign agents to negotiate and secure the most competitive quotes.
  • Align with the respective sales team & overseas agents to source prices, assist with quotations, and provide deal coordination support.
  • Must have strong experience in freight forwarding, ensuring competitive pricing strategies and smooth logistics operations.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Experience: 3-5 years in freight forwarding and pricing.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of import/export operations and freight rates.
  • Negotiation Skills: Ability to secure competitive rates with carriers and agents.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving: Capable of market analysis and resolving pricing issues.
  • Communication: Strong coordination with internal teams and vendors.
