Do you want to be part of the Partner Management team helping to establish Amazon Web Services as the leading cloud computing platform?

As a Partner Solutions Architect focused on the India software partners market within Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and broad use of Amazon's utility computing web services (Amazon Compute, Storage, Database and Networking) across the partner community.

The ideal candidate will possess deep technical skill in software architecture and cloud computing and customer facing skills at all levels of a partner's organization. The ideal candidate should also have a shown the ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges faced in the highly dynamic software partner market.

Key job responsibilities

• As a key member of the AWS Partner Management team, you will act as a trusted advisor to our Distributor partner community
• Provide the architectural guidance and recommendations necessary to build great partner solutions for customers in the region and worldwide
• Assist partners with the definition of technical strategies that will enable them to sell more of their offering on the AWS platform. Capture and share best-practice knowledge with our broader Solution Architect community
• Evangelize AWS services and solutions to the Independent Software Partners partner community in India
• Share partner and customer feedback to internal product management and engineering teams to help drive the future of AWS

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in designing and delivering architectural best practices that help partners create exceptional solutions for both local and global customers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
• Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
• Cloud Technology Certification (such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional or Cloud DevOps Engineering)
