About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with strong full-stack and polyglot development experience. The ideal candidate has a solid grounding in Java, hands-on experience across multiple programming languages, and deep familiarity with AWS and infrastructure management.

You should have a startup mindset, preferably with founder or early engineering team experience, and a proven record of leading teams to deliver high-quality, scalable products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture, design, and development of robust backend and full-stack applications.
  • Work extensively with Java, while being comfortable in other languages (e.g., Python, , Go, or similar).
  • Design and manage AWS-based infrastructure, including EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Drive infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

Key Requirements

  • 8–9 years of experience in software engineering.
  • Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency in at least one additional language (e.g., Python, , or Go).
  • Deep hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure management and cloud-native services.
  • Knowledge of frontend technologies (React, Angular, or Vue).
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation.
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 institution.
  • Proven experience leading teams or projects in product or startup environments.
  • Prior startup or founder experience strongly preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with system design, scaling distributed systems, and observability tools.
  • Contributions to open-source or personal tech projects.

  • Familiarity with FinTech, AI/ML, or high-scale SaaS products.

  • Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver complex features end-to-end.

  • Manage, mentor, and grow a team of engineers, fostering technical excellence.
  • Establish best practices for code quality, scalability, security, and performance.
  • Take ownership of DevOps processes, monitoring, and deployment automation.
