Role & responsibilities

  • Inspect raw materials and finished products for defects and compliance with specifications
  • Use measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions
  • Record inspection results and maintain accurate documentation
  • Identify quality issues, Defect and recommend corrective actions
  • Collaborate with production staff to resolve quality concerns in real-time
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections in manufacturing or assembly environments
  • Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and product specifications
  • Ensure compliance with Inspection standards and industry regulations
  • Assist in audits and implement continuous improvement practices

Preferred candidate profile

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Strong understanding of quality control standards and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and time management abilities

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic
  • Certification in quality control or inspection (e.g., ASQ CQI) is a plus
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or quality assurance
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and lean manufacturing principles is advantageous
  • Experience working with quality inspection software or ERP systems
