Operations Manager - Dental Clinic
Job Description:
The Operations Manager for a dental clinic is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the practice, ensuring smooth workflows, efficient use of resources, and optimal patient care. This role requires strong organizational, managerial, and communication skills, as well as an understanding of the dental industry's best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinic Operations Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the dental clinic to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Manage appointment scheduling, patient flow, and front-office procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (HIPAA, OSHA).
- Implement and maintain clinic policies and procedures for smooth operations.
- Staff Management:
- Hire, train, and supervise clinic staff, including receptionists, dental assistants, hygienists, and office managers.
- Create and manage employee schedules to ensure proper staffing levels.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Patient Care & Relations:
- Ensure high standards of patient care and service delivery.
- Handle patient complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality is upheld at all times.
- Assist in patient retention and satisfaction strategies.
- Inventory & Supplies Management:
- Ensure the clinic is well-stocked with necessary supplies and equipment.
- Manage inventory control, order supplies, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs of dental equipment.
- Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure the clinic adheres to health and safety standards, including infection control protocols.
- Prepare and submit necessary reports to regulatory bodies and management.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to improve clinic operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field (preferred).
- Previous experience in dental practice management or healthcare operations (2-5 years).
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment would be preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage a team and handle conflict resolution.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹40, ₹60,000.00 per month
