Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Terraform Engineer with strong experience in automating cloud infrastructure primarily on Azure and Databricks. The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure using Terraform, while enabling seamless CI/CD automation and cross-team collaboration. This role requires hands-on expertise in IaC, Azure services, Databricks components, secret management, and governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Infrastructure Provisioning for Azure & Databricks:

• Design and implement Terraform scripts to provision resources on Azure, specifically tailored for Databricks workspaces.
• Automate the creation of : SQL Warehouse Databases, Vector Databases, REST/API Endpoints, Data Pipelines, OpenAI Endpoints, Vectorization Pipelines.
• Connections to external data sources (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Blob Storage, Snowflake, etc.)

2.Secure Integration with Vaults :

• Configure pipelines to securely access secrets and credentials using vaults such as CyberArk, Azure Key Vault, or HashiCorp Vault.
• Ensure secure handling of sensitive data across environments and pipelines.

3.CI/CD Pipeline Automation :

• Develop Terraform modules that integrate with base code repositories to build CI/CD pipelines for Development (DEV), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Production (PROD)
• Use tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI to automate deployment workflows.

4.Workspace-Specific Resource Management :

• Ensure Terraform configurations are parameterized to support multiple workspaces with isolated resources.
• Implement tagging, naming conventions, and resource grouping for traceability and cost management.

5.Collaboration & Dependency Management :

• Lead cross-functional collaboration to identify and manage track-level needs and dependencies.
• Work closely with data engineering, platform, security, and application teams to align infrastructure with business and technical requirements.
• Act as a technical liaison to ensure smooth integration across solution components.

6.Governance, Compliance & Best Practices :

• Enforce infrastructure governance policies using Terraform and policy-as-code tools (e.g., Sentinel, OPA).
• Maintain compliance with client-specific security and operational standards.
• Conduct code reviews and promote best practices in Terraform development.

7.Documentation & Knowledge Sharing :

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for Terraform modules, deployment processes, and environment configurations.
• Provide onboarding support and training to other teams on Terraform usage and infrastructure workflows.

Role Requirements and Qualifications:

• 8+ years of total experience.
• Strong experience on Infrastructure Provisioning for Azure & Databricks.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions/GitLab).
• Experience with Key Vault/CyberArk/HashiCorp Vault integration.
• Strong communication abilities with clear and effective articulation.
