Responsibilities:

  • Conduct engaging, hands-on online or offline training sessions for medical coding students.
  • Deliver curriculum covering ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, medical terminology, and healthcare documentation standards.
  • Prepare learners for national and international medical coding certification exams (e.g., CPC, CCS, CCA).
  • Assess participant performance through quizzes, coding assignments, and practical case studies.
  • Provide constructive feedback to help learners improve accuracy and coding confidence.
  • Create interactive learning experiences using real-world medical records and coding scenarios.
  • Stay updated with the latest coding guidelines and regulatory changes (ICD, CPT updates, HIPAA policies).
  • Maintain detailed session reports, attendance, and learner progress records for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Mandatory: Medical Degree / Background
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in delivering training.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to conduct both online and classroom sessions effectively.
  • Experience working with corporate or academic institutions preferred.
