Role: Expeditor/Quality Engineer - HeavyLocation: PAN IndiaJob Type: Full-timeTravel: >50%About The CompanyWho we are:We are the manufacturing brains behind successful companies.What we do:Frigate is an On-demand cloud manufacturing startup that helps OEM'S/ODM'S andproduct/device companies identify right manufacturing vendors and leverage their existing capacitiesto get their products manufactured.ResponsibilitiesIdentify potential suppliers and manage supplier relationships for Fabrication to ensure the timely delivery of goods and servicesNegotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms for the companyDevelop and maintain a database of suppliers and track supplier performanceCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, and finance to ensure smooth procurement processesConduct market research and analysis to identify new suppliers and market trendsMaintain accurate purchase records and ensure compliance with company policies and proceduresMonitor inventory levels and place orders for goods and services as neededDevelop and implement cost-saving strategies to reduce procurement costsDevote the whole of your working time, attention and abilities to the business of the Company or any other Group CompanyIdentify potential suppliers and manage supplier relationships to ensure the timely delivery of goods and servicesNegotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms for the companyDevelop and maintain a database of suppliers and track supplier performanceExecute projects on time and within delivery scheduleTravel when and where required across the globe and being at the site managing vendors and complete the execution with OTD & QualityPurchase Order creation for vendorsArranging transports/trucks and logistics along with material handling on demandEnsuring Quality along with preparing inspection report before dispatch of goodsCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, and finance to ensure smooth procurement processesConduct market research and analysis to identify new suppliers and market trendsMaintain accurate purchase records and ensure compliance with company policies and proceduresMonitor inventory levels and place orders for goods and services as neededDiligently exercise such powers and perform such duties as may from time to time be assigned to you by the companyComply with all reasonable and lawful directions given to you by the CompanyReport your own wrongdoing and any wrongdoing of any other employee or director of the Company or any Group Company immediately on becoming aware of it; andUse your reasonable endeavors to promote, protect, develop and extend the business of the Company or any group companyNot refuse to carry out any assignment solely on the ground that it has not been or does not form part of your usual duties, and you shall not be entitled to any additional compensation for carrying out such assignmentMaintaining CRM & Frigate Platform with daily and regular updatesCollecting project reports from Project & Quality team on daily basisEducational Qualifications And ExperienceB.E/Diploma – Mechanical/AutoMobile/Production from reputed University.Overall, 1-2 years of experience in the Heavy Engineering Industry.Minimum 1 Year experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance.
