Requirements

Roles Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist with a strong foundation in

Python programming and a passion for solving complex data problems. The ideal candidate will have

over 6 years of hands-on experience in data science, with a proven track record of building and

deploying data-driven solutions. Familiarity with UNIX-based systems and DevOps practices is a strong

plus.

Key Responsibilities:

 Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows using Python.

 Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and data pipelines using Python.

 Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and support business decision-making.

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, product managers, and

software developers.

 Automate data workflows and ensure data quality and integrity.

 Contribute to the development of scalable and maintainable data science solutions.

 Utilize UNIX-based systems for scripting, automation, and data processing tasks.

 (Preferred) Work with DevOps tools and practices to streamline model deployment and

monitoring.

 (Preferred) Leverage DevOps tools for model deployment, monitoring, and CI/CD integration.

 (Preferred) Utilize UNIX-based systems for scripting, automation, and data handling.

Qualification

 Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.

 5+ years of experience in data science roles with a strong focus on Python.

 Proficiency in Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and Matplotlib/Seaborn.

 Experience with data wrangling, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.

 Solid understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms.

 Familiarity with UNIX/Linux environments and shell scripting.

 Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

 Solid experience in ETL development and data pipeline automation

CRITERIA

o Strong proficiency in Python programming and data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).

o Experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, or CI/CD pipelines.

o Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.

o Knowledge of version control systems like Git.

o Experience with big data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop)is a plus.
