About the Role

Traveltekpro IT Solutions is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer (Manual & Automation) to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our enterprise travel platforms. The role involves owning the complete QA lifecycle for booking engines, APIs, third-party integrations, and live payment workflows. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior QA engineers while driving best QA practices. Travel domain knowledge and live payment testing experience are strong advantages.

Key Responsibilities


• Analyze PRDs, BRDs, API documents, and technical specifications.


• Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.


• Plan and perform functional, regression, integration, system, UAT, and exploratory testing.


• Conduct end-to-end testing of travel booking flows including search, pricing, booking, cancellations, and refunds.


• Perform live payment gateway testing for cards, wallets, BNPL, failures, retries, and refunds.


• Validate payment callbacks, webhooks, transaction status, and security scenarios.


• Test integrations with GDS, NDC, hotel suppliers, and third-party travel APIs.


• Log, track, and verify defects using ClickUp or JIRA with clear documentation.


• Participate in defect triage meetings and ensure timely issue resolution.


• Develop and execute automation scripts using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools.


• Track QA metrics such as test coverage, defect density, and release readiness.


• Mentor junior QA engineers and continuously improve QA processes.

Required Skills & Experience


• 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.


• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and testing best practices.


• Hands-on experience in manual testing.


• Mandatory experience with live payment gateway testing.


• Experience testing enterprise web applications.


• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments.


• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred / Plus Advantages


• Travel domain experience (OTA, B2B/B2C platforms).


• Experience with GDS/NDC and hotel supplier APIs.


• Automation and API testing experience.


• Exposure to multi-currency and multi-language platforms.
