Job Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level Analog SerDes Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru. This is a full-time position at Applied Intelligence Semiconductors Pvt Ltd, ideal for individuals with a strong background in high-speed serial link design and signal integrity analysis. The role involves collaborating closely with other engineers to develop and implement state-of-the-art semiconductor solutions.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in high-speed serial link design, allowing for efficient and innovative development of semiconductors (Mandatory skill).
  • Strong understanding of signal integrity analysis to ensure performance and reliability of semiconductor solutions (Mandatory skill).
  • Experience with Verilog-A for designing analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits (Mandatory skill).
  • Practical knowledge of Cadence Virtuoso for conducting simulations and enhancing design functionalities.
  • Expertise in HSPICE, allowing for accurate simulation and analysis of complex analog circuits.
  • Capabilities in PCB design and layout critical for effective hardware development and integration.
  • Competence in layout design to create efficient and optimized physical architectures for electronic circuits.
  • Ability to perform jitter analysis, crucial for evaluating clock performance and maintaining signal integrity.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-performance SerDes systems by collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Conduct thorough signal integrity analyses to validate and enhance design outcomes.
  • Create and simulate detailed analog and mixed-signal circuit models using Verilog-A and other relevant tools.
  • Utilize Cadence Virtuoso and HSPICE for simulation and design validation of core components.
  • Engage in regular PCB design and layout tasks to support seamless product integration.
  • Assess and optimize jitter characteristics to ensure robust clock performance in various environments.
  • Provide technical guidance and support during the entire product development lifecycle.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and incorporate innovative practices into design processes.
