Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Pastry Chef located in Bengaluru. The Head Pastry Chef will be responsible for creating and designing desserts, pastries, and other baked goods. Daily tasks will include managing pastry staff, overseeing the preparation of baked items, ensuring the quality and presentation of the pastries, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. The role also involves inventory management, ordering supplies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in baking, pastry creation, and dessert design
• Leadership and management skills for overseeing kitchen staff
• Knowledge of inventory management and ordering supplies
• Understanding of health and safety regulations in a kitchen environment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Creativity and attention to detail in presentation
• Prior experience as a Head Pastry Chef or similar role is a plus
• Culinary certification or relevant degree
