1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Supervise day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (Ind AS / GAAP).

2. Costing & Inventory Management

  • Monitor and analyze production costs, material consumption, and wastage.
  • Prepare cost sheets, variance analysis, and profitability reports by product or department.
  • Manage and reconcile raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory.

3. Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Prepare and monitor annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Analyze financial performance against budget and suggest corrective actions.

4. Taxation & Compliance

  • Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory filings on time.
  • Liaise with auditors and government departments for assessments and inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with company law, income tax, and other applicable regulations.

5. Payables & Receivables Management

  • Oversee vendor payments, purchase accounting, and expense control.
  • Monitor receivables, customer credit limits, and collection follow-up.

6. Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Supervise and train accounting staff.
  • Coordinate with production, procurement, and sales departments for accurate financial reporting.
