We are seeking a highly skilled Informatica Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our Informatica environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Informatica services and related infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and upgrade Informatica PowerCenter / Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
  • Manage user roles, privileges, security policies, and permissions.
  • Monitor system performance, perform capacity planning, and tune servers for optimal performance.
  • Handle issue resolution, root cause analysis, and provide production support for Informatica environments.
  • Manage connections to source/target systems (databases, applications, cloud).
  • Maintain metadata repositories and ensure system backups/recovery.
  • Apply patches, fixes, and perform version upgrades.
  • Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business teams to ensure smooth ETL workflows.
  • Create and maintain detailed administration documentation and SOPs.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational data governance and security standards.

Professional & Technical Skills

  • Must Have Skills:

  • Strong expertise in Informatica Administration (PowerCenter / IICS).

  • Hands-on experience with installation, configuration, and environment migration.
  • Knowledge of high availability setup, clustering, and load balancing.

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting services, nodes, domain configurations.

  • Good To Have Skills:

  • Knowledge of SQL/Oracle/SQL Server/DB2 databases.

  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix shell scripting.
  • Exposure to cloud-based ETL environments (Azure/AWS/GCP).
  • Understanding of DevOps CI/CD pipelines for Informatica deployments.

Additional Information

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Certification in Informatica Administration preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in 24x7 support model (if required).
