Senior Application Engineer CAM CNC Programming & NC Verification

At Kriatec Services, we are seeking a Senior Application Engineer who can combine hands-on programming expertise with customer-focused technical leadership. You will be at the forefront of deploying advanced CAM and NC verification solutions, empowering customers to achieve higher precision, productivity, and efficiency in their machining operations.

Role Overview

As a Senior Application Engineer, you will be the technical backbone for our customers. From toolpath programming and simulation to customer training and adoption, youll ensure seamless implementation and world-class support. This role gives you the opportunity to work directly with advanced manufacturing teams while positioning Kriatec as a trusted partner in digital machining excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy and support CAM programming & NC verification solutions at customer sites.
  • Train and mentor engineers in toolpath creation, process optimization, and simulation workflows.
  • Validate toolpaths using NC simulation software (collision detection, material removal, and cycle optimization).
  • Provide technical guidance during installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance adoption and productivity of software solutions.
  • Support multi-axis machining projects, solving advanced programming challenges.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education & Experience:

  • Diploma (8+ yrs) or B.E. (5+ yrs) in Mechanical / Production / Mechatronics.
  • Strong experience in CAM programming (Edgecam preferred, other CAM tools welcome).
  • Practical expertise in NC verification/simulation tools for toolpath validation and machining error prevention.
  • Solid knowledge of CNC machining, tooling, and process optimization.
  • Experience with 5-axis programming and 3D CAD modeling is a strong advantage.
