Role & responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and maintain secure network architectures within the organization.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops on network architecture, security protocols, and best practices for students and trainees.
  • Ensure robust connectivity, data protection, and compliance with institutional network policies.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to universities and colleges implementing secure networking environments.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity and IT teams to integrate secure design principles into network operations.
  • Learn and adapt quickly to new networking tools, management systems, and emerging technologies.
  • Document configurations, policies, and procedures for training and operational reference.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Centre of Excellence (CoE) or associated institutions.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Hands-on experience with network devices (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in implementing network security policies and monitoring solutions.
  • Ability to train, guide, and support students or junior staff in network-related projects.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
  • Agile learner with the ability to adopt new software, tools, and technologies.
  • Effective communication and mentoring skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration or infrastructure design.
  • Industry-recognized certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ are mandatory.

Other Requirements

  • Willingness to relocate to Jaipur.
  • Enthusiasm for mentoring, technical learning, and supporting academic institutions.
  • Strong command over English; knowledge of Hindi is preferred.
