ETL Tester (Automation Specialist)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive ETLTester with 4+ years of hands-on experience in software testing, including a strong foundation in manual testing and a proven ability to initiate and lead automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a key role in creating new testing frameworks, improving test coverage, and accelerating release cycles through automation.

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web, mobile, and API-based applications
  • Lead the transition from manual to automated testing by identifying high-impact areas for automation
  • Build and maintain robust automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure quality throughout the SDLC
  • Perform root cause analysis of defects and drive continuous improvement in testing processes
  • Monitor test execution, analyze results, and report metrics to stakeholders
  • Ensure regression testing is automated and integrated into CI/CD pipelines
  • Mentor junior testers and promote best practices in automation and quality assurance
  • Can manage multiple projects in the fast pace

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 1–2 years in automation
  • Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Postman, RestAssured)
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
