Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mechanical Design Research Intern at our Bengaluru location. The intern will collaborate with the innovation team on designing, prototyping, and optimizing mechanical systems and components using advanced tools and methods. Responsibilities include conducting research, using CAD, Catia, Solidworks tools for design modeling, performing inspections on developed prototypes, and addressing maintenance or troubleshooting matters. Additionally, the role involves exploring the application of mechanical engineering principles to support innovation projects within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering principles and practices
  • Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Catia, Solidworks tools for creating detailed models and simulations
  • Experience with Maintenance and Inspection of mechanical systems
  • Basic knowledge of Automotive systems and their design processes
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, on-site team environment in a high-energy, innovation-driven space
  • Excellent problem-solving and technical research skills
  • Enthusiasm for hands-on learning and contributing to innovation-driven projects
  • Currently pursuing or having completed a degree in Product Designing, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
