Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Designer to support the design and drafting of Fire Protection Systems, including sprinkler systems, fire alarm layouts, and suppression systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AutoCAD and a solid understanding of fire protection design standards and codes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for fire protection systems (sprinklers, alarms, standpipes, etc.).

  • Create plans, layouts, and schematics based on engineering specifications and building requirements.

  • Work closely with Fire Protection Engineers and Project Managers to meet design intent and deadlines.

  • Ensure all drawings comply with local, national, and international fire codes (e.g., NFPA, IBC).

  • Coordinate with other MEP disciplines and architectural plans.

  • Revise drawings as required based on design changes, field conditions, or feedback.

  • Maintain and organize drawing sets, version control, and project documentation.

  • Participate in site visits, if required, to support field verification and coordination.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an AutoCAD Designer in the Fire Protection industry.

  • Proficient in AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit, Navisworks, or similar tools is a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of fire protection system design.

  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
