Role Overview:

We are looking for a
Java Architect
 who can design, build, and optimize enterprise-level, cloud-native Java applications. The ideal candidate will be strong in technical architecture, microservices, performance engineering, and leading development teams.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architectural standards, ensure best practices, and drive technical excellence across FinSurge products and client implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

Architecture & Design

  • Define architecture and high-level design for enterprise Java applications
  • Build scalable, reliable, and secure solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices
  • Create solution blueprints, integration patterns, and API frameworks
  • Ensure architecture aligns with domain-driven design (DDD), cloud-native principles, and best practices

Technical Leadership

  • Guide and mentor development teams
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering standards
  • Collaborate with Product, DevOps, QA, and Business teams
  • Evaluate and introduce new technologies/tools where beneficial

Development & Optimization

  • Lead PoCs, prototypes, and complex technical modules
  • Work on performance tuning, optimization, and scaling applications
  • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and security compliance
  • Drive automation for builds, deployments, and monitoring

Cloud & DevOps

  • Architect and deploy applications on
    AWS/Azure
     cloud
  • Work with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 10–14 years of experience in Java ecosystem
  • Strong expertise in
    Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs
  • Proven experience in large-scale, high-traffic system architecture
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure)
  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
  • Experience with Kafka, event-driven architecture is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of design patterns, system design, and architectural frameworks
  • Hands-on with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in
    Capital Markets / FinTech
  • Certification in AWS or Azure
  • Experience with container orchestration (K8s)
  • Exposure to domain-driven design (DDD), CQRS, and event sourcing
