Store Officer

Role Overview:
The Store Officer will be responsible for managing the overall store operations, including receipt, storage and proper accounting of materials. The role requires ensuring accurate stock records, timely material availability, compliance with company policies, and smooth coordination with production, purchase, and logistics teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day store operations, including receipt, storage, preservation, and issue of materials.
- Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure proper documentation in ERP / inventory systems.
- Conduct periodic stock verification and reconciliation with physical inventory.
- Ensure safe handling and storage of materials in compliance with company standards.
- Coordinate with the purchase and production teams for timely material issuance and replenishment.
- Monitor slow-moving and non-moving items and provide reports to management.
- Implement and ensure adherence to FIFO / LIFO, material codification, and other inventory control systems.
- Supervise loading, unloading, and dispatch of materials with proper documentation.
- Maintain records for inward and outward materials as per audit requirements.
- Ensure compliance with safety norms, 5S, and statutory requirements within the store.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Graduate / Diploma in Supply Chain / Materials Management / B.Com / BBA or equivalent.
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in store operations, preferably in manufacturing or electrical industry.
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Tally).
- Proficiency in MS Excel & inventory management software.
Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and material handling.
- Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher
Pay: ₹20, ₹40,226.25 per month
