Role Summary
The Café Manager is responsible for the overall performance and growth of LA SANTE, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, strong financial control, and exceptional customer experiences. This role demands proven expertise in managing a health-focused café, driving profitability, developing team culture, and leading marketing and business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Financial & P&L Management
- Oversee complete Profit & Loss (P&L) operations: budgeting, cost control, revenue tracking, and monthly reporting.
- Monitor key metrics (COGS, labor costs, wastage) and implement strategies to maximize profitability.
- Prepare weekly and monthly financial statements for review with ownership.
Inventory & Supply Chain Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records for food, beverages, and café supplies.
- Implement efficient ordering, stock rotation, and waste-reduction processes.
- Negotiate with vendors for best pricing and timely deliveries.
Front-of-House & Operations
- Supervise coffee and juice bar operations ensuring consistency in beverage quality and speed of service.
- Deliver outstanding customer service, handle escalations, and train staff in guest engagement.
- Maintain hygiene, safety, and quality standards across all areas.
Team Building & Coordination
- Recruit, train, and motivate the café team to build a strong, service-oriented culture.
- Maintain seamless coordination with the kitchen team for timely order execution and menu updates.
- Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one sessions for feedback and performance review.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Create, document, and update SOPs for all café operations, including beverage prep, hygiene, customer service, and closing/opening duties.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs to maintain consistency and efficiency.
Marketing & Business Development
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns (digital, local events, influencer tie-ups) to drive footfall and brand awareness.
- Build B2B partnerships—corporate catering, fitness studios, co-working spaces, and health-focused communities.
- Introduce innovative promotions, seasonal menus, and loyalty programs to grow customer base.
Innovation & Expansion
- Research market trends and propose new menu items, wellness programs, or café concepts for growth.
- Contribute strategic ideas for scaling LA SANTE to new locations or business models.
Requirements & Skills
- Minimum 3–5 years in café/restaurant management; healthy café or specialty coffee experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability in P&L management and achieving revenue targets.
- Strong knowledge of coffee and cold-pressed juice operations.
- Excellent team-building and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
- Expertise in inventory management, vendor negotiations, and kitchen coordination.
- Proficient in English—both spoken and written.
- Dynamic marketer with digital and offline marketing know-how.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation
Competitive salary plus performance-based incentives.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25, ₹32,000.00 per month
