Overview: We are seeking a skilled CNC and VMC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have experience in operating CNC machines, specifically VMCs, and be proficient in interpreting technical drawings to ensure accurate production of parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Set up and operate CNC machines and VMCs based on job orders and specifications.
  2. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to determine machining operations.
  3. Adjust machine settings (speed, feed, etc.) for optimal performance and quality output.
  4. Monitor machine operations to ensure parts are produced according to specifications and quality standards.
  5. Inspect machined parts to verify conformance to quality standards using precision measuring instruments.
  6. Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure smooth operations.
  7. Troubleshoot machine issues and make adjustments as necessary to maintain production efficiency.
  8. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Operator or VMC Operator in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC machines, including VMCs.
  • Knowledge of machining processes and materials (metal cutting, drilling, milling, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Basic understanding of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in machining is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a CNC Operator or VMC Operator preferred.
