Want to lead a high-performing offshore operations team for a fast-scaling Australian EdTech? To guide people, improve workflows, and make sure our daily operations run seamlessly?
At Contour, we are looking for a proactive and organized Student Experience and Operations Team Leader to oversee our student operations and experience team. You will be responsible for managing a small team, auditing work, implementing improvements, and ensuring processes are consistent, efficient, and student - centered.
You'll work closely with the Operations Manager, Academic Teams, and our Australian leadership team to ensure operational excellence across student experience touchpoints.
This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring others, building systems, and ensuring that every detail contributes to a better student experience.

What You'll Do
You will lead the Student Experience and Operations team and ensure that systems, people, and workflows run efficiently and effectively.
- Manage and guide the Student Experience and Operations team in their daily responsibilities.
- Improve workflows and implement process changes for greater efficiency.
- Audit team work regularly and share feedback to maintain accuracy and consistency.
- Develop Personal Development Plans (PDPs) for team members and ensure they are implemented effectively.
- Collaborate with different departments to take on new projects, develop processes, and roll them out with your team.
- Conduct weekly meetings to review progress, challenges, and goals.
- Share updates on task progression and project status with relevant stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of accountability, growth, and continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements Must - Haves
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Operations, Administration, or related fields preferred)
- 2 to 4 years of experience in operations, coordination, or administrative roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to guide, mentor, and support a small team
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- A process-driven approach and ability to identify and close workflow gaps
Nice - to - Haves
- Prior experience in student operations, academic administration, or EdTech environments
- Familiarity with workflow or project management tools (ClickUp, Monday, Notion, etc.)
- Experience conducting team audits or performance feedback
- Exposure to cross-department collaboration and reporting
