The Role:
  • Lead and mentor a team of mobile developers, providing technical guidance and support throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend developers, to define project requirements and deliverables.
  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and user-friendly mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Java and Swift programming languages.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with backend developers to integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs and other backend services.
  • Implement new features, enhancements, and improvements to existing mobile applications.
  • Perform thorough testing and debugging to ensure high-quality, bug-free software.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in mobile application development and propose innovative ideas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the QA team to identify and resolve any performance, compatibility, or security issues.
  • Work in an Agile development environment, actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint retrospectives.
  • Lead the team in adopting best practices, tools, and technologies for efficient development and continuous improvement.
Ideal Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3+ years of professional experience in mobile application development, with expertise in both iOS and Android platforms.
  • Proficiency in Java and Swift programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of mobile app architecture and design patterns.
  • Experience with frameworks such as Android SDK, iOS SDK, UIKit, Core Data, and Core Animation.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integrating third-party libraries and APIs.
  • Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle, including app submission and approval processes on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Previous experience in a team lead or management role, guiding and mentoring developers.
