Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to join our Salesforce Center of Excellence as a Salesforce Omnistudio (Vlocity) Architect / Lead/ DevOps Lead. This is a multi-faceted role requiring hands-on experience in Salesforce Development, OmniStudio/Vlocity Implementation, and DevOps Leadership delivering scalable CRM solutions in fast-paced, enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce & Vlocity Development

• Design and develop advanced solutions using OmniStudio tools (OmniScript, FlexCards, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures).
• Develop Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, and Lightning Components.
• Implement user-friendly, guided UI flows using Vlocity Card UI and OmniScripts.
• Work on deployment strategies across Salesforce and Vlocity environments.
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools.
• Ensure adherence to Salesforce/Vlocity data models and best practices.

Solution Architecture & Delivery

• Act as a technical SME for Salesforce/Vlocity platform capabilities.
• Lead requirement gathering, gap analysis, solution design, and implementation phases.
• Design solutions considering platform limits and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align business goals with technical architecture.
• Deliver projects using Agile methodologies with global delivery teams.
• Provide mentorship and code reviews for development teams.

DevOps Leadership for Salesforce & OmniStudio

• Define and lead DevOps strategy, CI/CD pipelines, and environment management for Salesforce and Vlocity using Azure DevOps, Git, and tools like Gearset/Copado.
• Automate deployment workflows, testing, version control, and monitoring.
• Establish branching strategies, release management, and rollback mechanisms.
• Implement security controls, access management, and compliance processes within the DevOps ecosystem.
• Proactively identify bottlenecks in release pipelines and continuously optimize delivery processes.
• Drive performance monitoring, root cause analysis, and incident resolution for release failures.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have:

• 4+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• 1+ year hands-on experience with Vlocity/OmniStudio tools.
• Strong experience in Salesforce core (Apex, Lightning, Visualforce).
• Experience in developing and deploying OmniStudio components: OmniScript, FlexCards, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures.
• Experience with Salesforce/Vlocity integration patterns.
• Good understanding of CMT (Communications, Media, and Technology) industry domain processes such as Quote-to-Order, MACD, Order Management, CPQ.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools: Azure DevOps, Git, Gearset/Copado or similar.
• Good knowledge of Agile project methodologies.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud.
• Knowledge of SFI (Salesforce Industries/Industries Cloud) particularly for CPQ, OM, Insurance Cloud.
