Trainee Formulator Cosmetic and Nutraceutical Extraction

Raw Material Extraction
Assist in extracting active compounds from herbs, plants, seeds, and flowers using techniques such as solvent extraction, maceration, distillation, and cold pressing.
- Prepare and process plant-based raw materials for use in formulations.
Maintain accurate records of raw material batches, extraction parameters, and yields.
Formulation Development Support
Assist in the development of cosmetic and nutraceutical products including oils, balms, creams, serums, powders etc.
Support trial batch preparation, product stability testing, and formula optimization.
Quality Control Assistance
Participate in basic quality testing for extracted materials and finished products (e.g., appearance, pH, viscosity).
Help ensure compliance with relevant quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain laboratory notebooks, SOPs, and detailed formulation records.
Assist in preparing technical documentation for new product development.
Laboratory Maintenance
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in the R&D laboratory.
- Ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage of herbs, extracts, and chemicals.
