We are seeking a skilled Java 8 developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Java 8 features and capabilities and be able to leverage them to design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable applications. The candidate should have experience working with modern development methodologies and tools, and be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test Java 8 applications based on business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Implement new features and enhancements using Java 8 language features.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability through efficient coding practices and code refactoring.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, QA engineers, and system administrators, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to coding standards.
  • Debug and resolve software defects and production issues in a timely manner.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and advancements in Java technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong experience in Java development, with a focus on Java 8.
  • Proficient in using Java 8 features such as lambdas, streams, and functional interfaces.
  • Familiarity with Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or JavaFX.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL.
  • Knowledge of software development best practices, including Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
