About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with 4-8 years of hands-on experience in managing virtual machines (VMs), Kubernetes (K8s), Dockerized environments, and cloud-native infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience in Kafka cluster monitoring and optimization, observability tooling (Grafana, Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics), and GenAI stack deployment (Langfuse, Portkey). You will work closely with engineering and customer teams to build resilient infrastructure, configure alerting dashboards, and proactively troubleshoot complex issues.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure using Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native components (AWS/GCP/Azure).

· Manage and optimize Kafka clusters for high throughput, fault tolerance, and minimal latency.

· Set up, maintain, and fine-tune Grafana dashboards, Prometheus, and VictoriaMetrics (VM) for monitoring, alerting, and performance observability.

· Deploy and manage Generative AI infrastructure involving tools such as Langfuse, Portkey, and other telemetry or feedback-loop components.

· Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth, automated deployments across multiple environments.

· Proactively troubleshoot infrastructure and performance issues, driving resolution end-to-end.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend, QA, and product to define system requirements and deliver solutions.

· Engage with customers to understand issues, offer solutions, and guide deployment/integration as needed.

· Ensure system security, backup, compliance, and disaster recovery readiness.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· 5–8 years of experience in DevOps or SRE roles in production environments.

· Strong expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform).

· Deep understanding of Kafka architecture, monitoring, and performance tuning.

· Hands-on experience with Grafana, Prometheus, and VictoriaMetrics for metric collection and alerting.

· Practical exposure to Langfuse, Portkey, or similar observability tools in the context of LLMs or GenAI applications.

· Solid scripting and automation skills in Bash, Python, or Go.

· Familiarity with GitOps and modern CI/CD tools (e.g., ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

· Strong problem-solving mindset with ability to handle production outages and customer escalations.

· Experience working with customers directly, resolving technical issues, and supporting integration needs.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience in multi-tenant, high-scale distributed systems.

· Exposure to service mesh, gRPC, TLS, and secure networking in containerized setups.

· Familiarity with cost optimization strategies on cloud platforms.

· Prior work with GenAI observability, RAG pipelines, or LLM-driven APIs is a strong plus.
