Job Summary

You will be responsible for planning, filming, editing, and publishing engaging content across all our social media channels. You'll take full ownership of content creation – from idea to execution – showcasing our interior design projects, behind-the-scenes footage, client stories, and more. This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes social media, has a great eye for aesthetics, and can produce high-quality video/photo content using their own equipment (camera or iPhone).

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

  • Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video and photo content (project walkthroughs, designer interviews, before & afters, time-lapses, etc.)
  • Use your own camera or iPhone to capture content (must be high resolution and professional quality)
  • Ensure visual consistency with the brand's aesthetic and tone
  • Produce reels, stories, YouTube shorts, and long-form videos when needed

Video & Photo Editing

  • Edit videos for multiple platforms (Instagram, YouTube, etc.) using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar
  • Add music, graphics, animations, text overlays, transitions, and effects as needed
  • Optimize video formats for each platform

Social Media Management

  • Manage and grow our presence on Instagram and facebook
  • Write engaging captions and schedule/post content consistently
  • Monitor performance and engagement metrics; suggest improvements
  • Stay up to date with trends and adapt content accordingly
  • Respond to comments, DMs, and engage with the community

Requirements

  • Proven experience in video shooting, editing, and social media content creation
  • Should have their own laptop to work
  • Strong portfolio showcasing similar work (preferably in lifestyle, interior design, architecture, or fashion)
  • Proficient in video editing tools and mobile editing apps
  • Excellent understanding of Instagram, Facebook, and current trends
  • Own professional camera or a high-end iPhone with accessories (gimbal, mic, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of social media analytics and scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Buffer, or Meta Business Suite)
  • Creative thinker with strong storytelling skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage time, and meet deadlines

Nice to Have

  • Experience in graphic design or using tools like Canva or Adobe Photoshop
  • Basic motion graphics or animation knowledge
  • Photography skills
  • Experience working with interior design or lifestyle brands
