The Role: What You'll Do

This is an opportunity for a motivated individual to dive deep into a professional software development environment. You will get a chance work with design & development team and be responsible for:

  • Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code primarily in Python
  • Assisting in the development, testing, and debugging of new features and enhancements.
  • Collaborating with the team on database design and integration (SQL, NoSQL).
  • Learning and utilizing popular Python frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
  • Participating in Agile/Scrum meetings, code reviews, and project planning sessions.
  • Developing automation scripts to improve development and deployment processes.

What We're Looking For (Required Skills)

We understand you're starting your career, so we prioritize passion and foundational knowledge:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Core Python: Solid understanding of Python syntax, data structures, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
  • Projects: A portfolio of personal or academic projects (e.g., a GitHub profile) demonstrating Python proficiency.
  • Version Control: Basic working knowledge of Git and GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket.
  • Database Fundamentals: Familiarity with SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving ability, a high degree of curiosity, and excellent communication skills. Also you need to have you your own machine to work

Bonus Points (Preferred Skills)

Candidates who possess any of the following will stand out:

  • Familiarity with a Python web framework (Django or Flask).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Understanding of basic Front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Pytest, unittest).
