We are looking for a process engineer with experience in fiber cable manufacturing. This role demands deep technical expertise and practical experience in Fiber optic cable QA/QC, process of different machines, and new product developments. He or she will work across cross-functional teams to implement improvements in the processes of different manufacturing lines, execute projects for new machines, industrialize newly developed products, etc. The person should be ready to travel to client sites for short-term as well as long-term requirements.

• Work closely with the manufacturing plant team to identify issues in production, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes moving forward.
• Work on machines to improve availability and output.
• Collaborate with development engineers and the manufacturing team on producing newly developed products in a production environment.
• Analyze failures and identify possible solutions.
• Provide hands-on support in resolving issues in manufacturing plants.
• Work on OEE improvement ideas within the plant.
• Drive documentation, knowledge sharing, and capability building within teams.

• Background in cable design engineering
• Exposure to installation practices for fiber optic cables
• Knowledge about copper cable manufacturing

• Bachelor's degree
• Engineering degree (preferred)
• 10 years of experience in fiber cable manufacturing in the process department
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Process engineering in fiber cable manufacturing
  • The new product development cycle for fiber cables
  • Performing root cause analysis for issues being faced
• Strong technical analysis capabilities
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
