Job Title: Infection Control Nurse

Qualification: B.sc/M.Sc Nursing

Years of Experience: 7-8 Years

Location: This position is available for the candidates of Kumaon region of Uttarakhand

Job Role:

  • Provides information, training, guidance and support for infection prevention and control for all hospital employees including administrative and ancillary services.
  • Responsible for the surveillance, analysis, and reporting of Hospital Acquired infections
  • Ensuring the implementation of various infection control policies in the hospital.
  • Assisting environmental control through surveillance of water supply systems as needed
  • Participates in the formal teaching programmes during the orientation of new staff.
  • Collects data-pertaining to c/s reports from microbiology department.
  • Keeps track of all patient with
  • o Intravascular catheterso Urinary catheterso Medical/surgical woundso Instrumentation of respiratory tract (ET tubes, tracheotomy tubes)
  • Monitoring and surveillance of Bio-Medical Waste Management practices & protocols.

  • Assistance in the vaccination of employees.

  • Reporting daily to Head of Infection control committee
  • Attending relevant committee meetings, seminars, workshops or infection control update the knowledge.
  • Conducts clinical audit to maintain high standard of care with respect to infection control and prevention.
  • To establish an antibiotic susceptibility pattern, The rate of infection and the number of isolates grown, Intravenous line related infections, Wound sepsis rates, Urinary tract infection rates and Respiratory tract infection rates

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20, ₹25,000.00 per month
