About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven
Senior Java Developer
with strong expertise in
Spring Boot, Microservices, and backend development
. The ideal candidate should also possess working knowledge of
frontend frameworks
such as
React or Angular
, along with the capability to
lead and coordinate a team
.

This role involves end-to-end project understanding — from requirement analysis to delivery — and contributing to team task allocation, code reviews, and mentoring junior developers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using
    Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
    .
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
  • Integrate APIs and third-party services with backend systems.
  • Work on
    frontend integration
    with React or Angular when required.
  • Participate in system architecture design and ensure high performance and security.
  • Lead a small development team — assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure quality deliverables.
  • Conduct code reviews and guide team members on best coding practices.
  • Collaborate with the project management and recruitment teams to align resource planning and team allocation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the application stack.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in Java, backend frameworks, and DevOps tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum
    5 years of hands-on experience
    in
    Java development
    .
  • Strong proficiency in
    Spring Boot
    ,
    Microservices
    ,
    RESTful APIs
    , and
    Hibernate/JPA
    .
  • Experience with
    frontend frameworks
    – or Angular.
  • Knowledge of
    SQL/NoSQL databases
    (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with
    CI/CD pipelines
    ,
    Docker
    ,
    Kubernetes
    , and
    cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
    is an advantage.
  • Excellent understanding of
    OOP concepts
    ,
    design patterns
    , and
    software development life cycle (SDLC)
    .
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Ability to
    mentor junior developers
    and handle
    team coordination
    effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an
    Agile/Scrum environment

  • Exposure to
    project planning tools
    like JIRA, Trello, or Asana.
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and translate business needs into technical requirements.
