Solidworks trainer

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct training sessions on AutoCAD (2D & 3D) and SolidWorks (Part Modeling, Assembly, Drafting, and Simulation modules).
• Teach engineering drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), drafting standards (ANSI, ISO, ASME, etc.).
• Provide hands-on practice and project-based training to ensure practical understanding.
• Develop structured lesson plans, assignments, and learning materials.
• Guide students in applying CAD tools to real-world mechanical design problems.
• Assess student progress through tests, projects, and practical evaluations.
• Stay updated with industry standards, CAD software updates, and design practices.
• Mentor and motivate students to build strong technical and professional skills.

Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Mechanical and SolidWorks (2D drafting, 3D modeling, assemblies, and simulations).
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, engineering drawings, manufacturing processes, and material selection.
• Prior experience in training/teaching OR working in a mechanical design role.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Certification in AutoCAD or SolidWorks is an added advantage.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in design, drafting, or training.
