Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in building scalable data pipelines, designing robust data models and maintaining efficient data processing systems. You'll collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts and other stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-performance data solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Architecture & Modelling

· Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data models.

· Build curated and semantic data layers to support analytical and reporting use cases.

  1. Data Engineering & Technical Execution

· Write and optimize complex SQL queries and Python scripts for high-performance data processing.

· Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for the data ingestion pipeline.

· Implement and monitor data quality, accuracy and security measures across systems.

  1. Collaboration & Delivery

· Work with cross-functional teams including engineers, analysts and other stakeholders

·  Mentor junior engineers and contribute to high-quality project delivery.

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer working with any ETL/ELT tool.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and programming experience in Python, Scala or Java.
  • Hands-on experience with modern data warehouse platforms (e.g.  Databricks, Snowflake or similar).
  • Experience working with at least one cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP).
  • Solid understanding of data modelling, data warehousing principles, performance optimization and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with dbt, Airflow or similar data workflow tools.
