Capital Need is a fintech platform helping businesses and individuals access the best loan products in the market including Business Loans, Education Loans, Gold Loans, Personal Loans, Home Loans, and more. We are looking for a skilled freelance content writer who can create engaging, human-centric, SEO-optimized, and informative content that builds trust and drives conversions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and write blogs, articles, website content, product descriptions, FAQs, case studies, and social media posts on loan/finance topics.
  • Produce clear, engaging, and humanized content that avoids an "AI-generated" feel.
  • Develop content strategies aligned with SEO best practices and audience needs.
  • Translate complex financial terms into simple, relatable, and easy-to-understand language.
  • Ensure all content is original, plagiarism-free, and factually accurate.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align content with campaigns, ads, and lead generation strategies.
  • Stay updated on RBI guidelines, fintech trends, lending policies, and financial literacy content trends.
  • Adapt content into different formats (long-form blogs, short-form posts, video scripts, ad copies, LinkedIn thought leadership).
  • Use storytelling techniques to connect emotionally with readers while maintaining professionalism.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Content Writer / Copywriter in the finance, banking, or fintech domain.
  • Excellent command of English grammar, vocabulary, and storytelling ability.
  • Ability to create humanized, conversational, and engaging content (not robotic/AI-style).
  • Strong understanding of SEO, keyword research, on-page optimization, and content structuring.
  • Knowledge of financial products like Business Loans, Personal Loans, Gold Loans, Education Loans, Home Loans, Working Capital, Loan Against Property, etc.
  • Research-oriented mindset with the ability to fact-check and simplify financial jargon.
  • Proficiency in AI tools (ChatGPT, Jasper, SurferSEO, Grammarly, Frase, etc.) but with the skill to edit and refine AI drafts into humanized, brand-friendly content.
  • Familiarity with content marketing strategies, including user intent mapping, customer journey writing, and lead magnet creation.
  • Ability to write for different platforms (blogs, LinkedIn, Quora, Medium, ads, website landing pages, email campaigns).
  • Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines while handling multiple assignments.

Preferred (Good to Have):

  • Experience writing for fintech, NBFCs, banks, or loan aggregators.
  • Understanding of Google EEAT guidelines (Experience, Expertise, Authority, Trust) for ranking content.
  • Experience with content repurposing (blogs into videos, carousels, infographics, etc.).
  • Awareness of AI vs. human content trends and ability to make content authentic & personal.
