Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee and manage the financial operations of our hospital. The Finance Manager will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, reporting, cost control, compliance, and ensuring sound financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the annual budget in collaboration with department heads.
  • Monitor departmental budgets and ensure adherence to financial plans.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including billing, collections, and payables.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Ensure accurate and timely closing of accounts and financial statements.
  • Manage hospital cash flow, banking, and investment activities.
  • Ensure liquidity to meet operational and capital requirements.
  • Monitor operating costs, analyze variances, and recommend cost-saving measures.
  • Oversee the revenue cycle process including patient billing, insurance claims, and receivables.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, hospital financial policies, and statutory laws.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors and coordinate audits.
  • Ensure accurate and timely filing of all financial and regulatory reports.
  • Supervise and mentor finance department staff.

Qualifications:

  • CA / CPA /M.Com/ MBA in Finance or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare billing, insurance, and regulatory compliance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹70,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Idukki, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
