Join our Finance Transformation practice to help Deloitte client service teams define and execute Finance and Global Business Services agendas and strategies. You will work with world-class teams and insights, helping support delivery in challenging environments, market uncertainty, technology development, and regulatory considerations to help unlock value. Your work may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we collaborate with teams to enable transforming finance.

Position Summary

Level: Anaplan Senior Consultant

As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions, lead the creation of robust pipelines and manage code deployment across environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to translate functional requirements into effective deliverables, independently guiding and mentoring junior team members. Your role spans the full project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, execution, and tracking key metrics for analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions.

Work you'll do:

You will lead end-to-end Anaplan engagements, from solution architecture and requirements gathering to deployment and Hypercare. You will collaborate closely with client stakeholders and Deloitte leadership, oversee technical and functional delivery, proactively manage project risks, and ensure alignment with client objectives. You will also provide guidance to consultants and analysts, foster knowledge sharing, and contribute to the continuous improvement of Anaplan delivery methodologies.

We take a holistic approach, integrating strategy development, process design, and technology enablement to help clients overcome challenges and achieve sustained business success. Our team partners with organizations to drive profitable growth, manage costs strategically, and navigate financial risks. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills and business acumen to join us in delivering innovative solutions and supporting clients in their transformation journey.

Qualifications

Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

• 5–12 years of hands-on experience in Anaplan model building, solution architecture, data modeling, and data integration.
• Anaplan Certified Model Builder (Level 1, Level 2, Anaplan Way).
• Anaplan Level 3 Certified.
• Anaplan Certified Solution Architect.
• Proven experience leading large-scale Anaplan implementations, including solution design, development, deployment, and Hypercare.
• Expertise in translating complex business requirements into scalable, multidimensional Anaplan models.
• Experience interacting with senior business stakeholders, managing client expectations, and providing strategic guidance.
• Expertise in data modeling and integration of Anaplan with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) using native capabilities, APIs and/or middleware tools.
• Demonstrated ability to lead project teams and drive quality assurance across deliverables.
• Experience conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and preparing comprehensive project documentation, training materials, and administration guides.
• Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively.
• Strong focus on continuous improvement and adoption of best practices in Anaplan delivery.
• Ability to mentor and upskill junior Anaplan model builders, fostering knowledge sharing and best practices within the team.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog management, and iterative solution development.
• Experience supporting Anaplan Center of Excellence (CoE) initiatives, including governance, security, model standards, and model lifecycle management.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and business users.

Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

• Anaplan Certified Master Anaplanner.
• Anaplan Data Orchestrator (ADO) certification.
• Experience architecting Anaplan solutions for specific planning processes (e.g., financial planning, workforce planning, S&OP).
• Deep understanding of planning processes across finance, supply chain, and other business functions.
• Experience in practice development, pre-sales, or client advisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of additional Anaplan product offerings (for e.g. PlanIQ, Optimizer, Workflow and AnaplanXL) and their implementation in Connected Planning solutions.

Education:

• B.Tech or equivalent from an acredited university (required)
• Master's degree (preferred)
