Summary of the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Java Spring Boot Developer with 6 to 8 years of overall experience, who has a strong foundation in AWS technologies. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work under pressure while delivering high-quality software solutions in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a collaborative team player who can adapt to changing requirements while meeting tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality Java applications using Spring Boot and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Implement serverless architectures using AWS technologies such as Lambda, Cloud Watch, and S3.
  • Ensure code quality through the use of Agile methodologies and best practices.
  • Work with databases like AWS DynamoDB, SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
  • Integrate APIs and RESTful services using frameworks such as Swagger and Postman.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
  • Communicate effectively with international clients, ensuring clarity and thoroughness.
  • Manage and complete projects within designated timelines.
  • Take ownership of development tasks and adhere to customer quality standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must-Have:
  • 6-8 years of overall software development experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with Spring Boot, Java 8, Junit, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
  • Proficient in AWS services, particularly AWS Lambda, Cloud Watch, and S3.
  • Experience with version control tools (GIT) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins).
  • Strong knowledge of databases: AWS DynamoDB, PostgreSQL.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
  • Nice-to-Have:
  • Experience in developing secure, decoupled, and resilient microservices.
  • Understanding of government design principles (GDS).
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
