RTS Engineer - REDIS
Required Skills & Experience
- Design, deploy, and maintain Redis clusters for high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability.
- Configure and optimize Redis persistence, replication, sharding, and failover.
- Manage Redis in both on-premises and cloud environments (AWS ElastiCache, Azure Cache for Redis, GCP MemoryStore).
- Proven experience in Redis administration (cluster setup, scaling, performance tuning).
- Strong understanding of Redis internals (data structures, eviction policies, persistence modes).
- Hands-on experience with Redis Streams or other streaming mechanisms.
- Proficiency with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
- Experience in real-time streaming architectures and event-driven systems.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions for distributed systems.
- Knowledge of cloud-based Redis services.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Knowledge on security controls designing Source and Data Transfers including CRON, ETLs, and JDBC-ODBC scripts
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
