Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant located in Madurai. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Additional tasks include conducting financial analysis, preparing tax returns, and assisting with audits and compliance. The Accountant will also collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and support budgeting and forecasting activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in the information technology and services industry is a plus
  • Professional certification such as CPA or CA is a plus
