Job Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level Accountant to join our team in Hyderabad. This is a full-time position requiring 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in financial systems and contribute to the meticulous financial management of our operations.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience with Tally ERP is mandatory and should be demonstrable through previous roles.
  • Proficiency in SAP FICO is a must (Mandatory skill), crucial for handling complex financial data.
  • Account reconciliation skills are essential in maintaining the integrity of financial records (Mandatory skill).
  • Proven skills in tax preparation ensuring compliance with regulations, reducing liabilities, and optimizing returns.
  • Accounts payable management experience to handle invoicing, vendor reconciliations, and payment processing.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems for streamlining accounting functions and effective data management.
  • Knowledge of GST regulations and procedures is required for accurate financial reporting and compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate financial reports, identify discrepancies, and implement solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare financial statements, business activity reports, and forecasts aligning with company strategies.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system and ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions.
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting for maintaining investor confidence and ensuring necessary compliance.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities and assist management with strategic financial analysis.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Work on continuous improvement of financial and accounting processes in collaboration with the finance team.
