Core Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum and Lesson Planning: Develop and implement physical education programs and lessons that incorporate exercise-based learning strategies and align with curriculum standards.
  • Instruction and Coaching: Teach students fundamental motor skills, various sports techniques, and the importance of exercise and physical fitness.
  • Fitness and Progress Tracking: Conduct fitness assessments to monitor students' progress and help them set and achieve their physical health goals.
  • Sports Event Management: Organize sports events and competitions for students.
  • Health and Wellness Promotion: Educate students on healthy lifestyles, including the benefits of regular exercise, proper nutrition, and overall well-being.
  • Collaboration: Work with academic teachers and clinical staff to identify students' adaptive physical education needs and ensure students receive a comprehensive education.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and performance.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Physical Education (BPEd) is often required.
  • Licensing: A valid teaching license or certificate from the government is typically necessary.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, curriculum development expertise, and the ability to work with students of various ages and abilities are essential.
  • Experience: Experience in developing physical education programs and working in an educational setting is beneficial.

Job Type: Full-time
